I’m the CTO and one of the founders of motiMind, a small company specialized in mobile technology supporting coaching and team development.I’m a person driven by both technology and human interaction. During my long R&D history at Nokia I’ve worked as a SW developer, SW architect, team leader, project/product manager and a product owner in projects aiming to produce 1st class mobile UI experience in large scale. My last 4 years as an entrepreneur have completed the big picture with some valuable learnings about work with customers from custom project definitions to phone interviews and practical sales work.Because of my background I have a good understanding of what it takes to convert customer needs all the way from sales meetings to requirements, UI design, system design and finally execution in (agile) teams. I also know in practice the amount of communication, workshopping and compromising it can take to make things happen in a big, multi-national and cultural organisation.The do-it-yourself part of me loves technical challenges from writing code to designing systems and/or coordinating their development. This engineer in me thinks nothing quite compares to the feeling of success one gets out of reaching slightly scary goals after Months of blood, sweat and tears…and a lot of learning along the way.The human side of me gets his kicks out of guiding and coaching others, making jokes to lighten things up when the going gets tough, interacting with customers and even selling products or services. For him there’s nothing quite like the energy one gets out of a successful meeting that leaves the participants happy and excited, looking forward to the next step. There’s a little teacher inside me and I’m known for being good at explaining difficult things in simple terms. I’m a verbal guy and love to play with words. I’ve had a lot of fun both writing plays and acting them out in team events like Christmas parties in the past.
