Angharad Walters, Phd Email and Phone Number
As an R&D Scientist at Molecular Devices, I applied my PhD in Cancer & Genetics and expertise in 3D cell culture to expand and commercialize patient-derived organoids for drug discovery and development. I have 7+ years of lab experience in both academia and industry, working with cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, high-content imaging, and NGS.I have established and cultured over 40 novel organoid lines from adenomatous polyposis patients, and identified novel tumour drivers and potential drug targets using various in vitro and cell-based assays. Collaboration with biotech has led to patenting and commercial bioreactor scale up of select lines. Throughout my career, I have delivered award-winning scientific presentations at 30+ conferences and public events, and communicated effectively with diverse stakeholders. I am always eager to learn new skills, expand my network, and contribute to the biotech community. Please feel free to each out here on LinkedIn or via Twitter (@AngharadWalters). I look forward to speaking with you!
