About Angi Cavaliere
I hope to continue working in public interests, and am thrilled at the opportunities I have had to do so. I am happy to be able to give back to my community who has supported me throughout my extended education. Previously I served in Los Angeles County's ICWA Specialty court of Juvenile Dependency where I utilized my expertise in Children's Law and specifically in ICWA on a daily basis. I have been privileged to present at national conventions and to train multiple organizations on ICWA. Recently, I was the Court Administrative Attorney at the Yurok Tribal Court serving as the law clerk/court counsel to the judges while also managing the legal access center, MMIP services project, victims of crime advocates, and the court investigative social workers. I am grateful to give back to Indigenous communities, and passionate about protecting their children.
