• Direct the day-to-day operation of creative services within the Office of Communications & Marketing. Supervise a staff of professional graphic artists, photographers and videographers. Provide leadership in graphics, design, photography, videography, audio/visual support, special events support and print materials to a campus of 10,500 employees plus external state agencies and clients as appropriate. Coordinate daily office activities.• Provide assistance to the director of marketing in the creative development of marketing materials (print, TV, video, etc.). Monitor and guide the appropriate logo usage in all media formats. Support service line marketing strategies by assessing customer needs and implementing the appropriate creative services. Oversee the design of marketing materials while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines. Collaborate with external/internal design and/or production firms on creative ideas and design options.• Serve as account executive in developing and supervising work for clients. Develop and maintain relationships across campus, consulting and recommending marketing strategies that support the UAMS brand identity. Develop marketing, promotional, and/or creative plans for clients. Anticipate opportunities and needs beyond what might ordinarily be adequate to advance and enhance all units of UAMS. Work with the management team of the Office of Communications & Marketing to coordinate and collaborate on projects, to maximize productivity and efficiency in all work, protecting and maintaining quality standards that reflect the brand and the image of UAMS. Ensure all projects and events involve, if needed, services of marketing, web center or public relations.• Support organizational growth by providing strategic client direction, building new relationships
