As the Membership Coordinator, I am responsible for assisting members with recommending candidates for membership, maintaining all member files, sending letters to members regarding membership and changes in membership, preparing for Membership Committee meetings, assisting New Members to getting oriented to the club, and answering any questions on the Bylaws and Rules of Forest Lake Club. As the receptionist, I answer any questions members have or forward them to whomever can assist in making reservations for events and dining.

As the Administrative Assistant for Tri-District Arts Consortium, I provided seasonal administrative assistance for this summer arts program serving over 350 talented middle school students in the areas of Creative Writing, Dance, Music,Theatre and Visual Art. I input information and maintained a database, created nametags, rosters, programs and many other helpful documents using Microsoft office, photographed and created Power Point Presentations and Publications, assisted with stage management, answering phones, and communicating with parents and staff.

As the Director Of Trinity Child Care Center, I was responsible for 250 students and 55 staff members. I maintained a clean, professional environment, created programs, calendars, lunch menus, newsletters and documents on both word and excel, created a yearly budget, worked with a diverse community of teachers to achieve the highest level of success for our students and their families, held chapel weekly, attended weekly church staff meetings, coordinated school wide events, answered phones, assisted with billing, ordered food and supplies, attended Parent Advisory Board meetings, assisted teachers with lessons, classroom arrangements, bulletin boards and parent communication, created and maintained a school website, assisted in the development of Policies and Procedures, followed closely DSS, DHEC and Fire Marshall regulations, planned five staff trainings per year, assisted with Fundraising, created proposals for school improvement, assist teachers with discipline and classroom management, and maintained a waitlist of 250+ students.

As an Assistant Teacher at Shandon United Methodist Preschool and Kindergarten, I helped create lesson plans and hands on activites to help the children learn, taught music to all of the classes on a weekly basis, attended trainings to better serve our students and their families, created weekly newsletters, organized the classroom, created bulletin boards and creative ways to display student work, created documents and excel spreadsheets to assist in our development checklists for each student, communicated with parents on a daily basis, problem solved and worked closely with the lead teacher to create a loving, Christian, hands on, learning environment.

As a teacher at Gymboree Play and Music, I taught various classes to ages Infant - 4 year olds. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, collecting money, enrolling new students, planning and hosting birthday parties, keeping the gym clean and organized, setting up the gym, learning the Gymboree songs & studying the lessons weekly, communicating with parents, and keeping a positive learning environment while actively engaging students and their parents.

As the Music Specialist at Mill Creek Elementary, I integrated music into the curriculum, created songs to assist with learning math and history, integrated technology into the classroom, created lesson plans, programs, documents, power points, and excel spreadsheets to better serve the students, organized school wide events, attended meetings and communicated on a daily basis with parents and coworkers.
