I conduct all fundraising and marketing endeavors for the agency. I have raised over $150,000 in funds each year from events, annual donation drives, corporate sponsorships, small grants, and other activities. I plan and create all marketing and multi-media campaigns, with the part-time Communications Coordinator’s assistance, in order to increase Erie County victims’ knowledge of and access to victim services at CVC. I coordinate, plan, create, and run the annual Speaker Series, which provides valuable insight, support, hope, and healing to victims as we bring national speakers who have experienced victimization to Erie to speak during Victim’s Rights Week. I design and implement all changes to the agency’s social media—increasing outreach and depth of understanding through Facebook, website, SEO, email, PowerPoint presentations, and other forms of communication. I photograph and document agency events, helping to spread the word about victim rights and help available. Planning and coordinating the most unique fall fundraising event for the Crime Victim Center is one of the most exciting part of this position. The event is called Moonlight on the Bay, it is a one-of-a-kind black tie optional event held yearly at Presque Isle State Park and is the largest fundraising event for CVC's Prevention Education Programs.

I supervised 8 full time and 8 part time employees. My duties include but are not limited to the following; Customer service, control stops, increase number of starts, focus on payments at start as well as grace collections, maintain complaint follow ups, control credit card expires and declines and build EZ-Pay customer base. In addition, I was responsible for NIE orders and billing, maintain current AAM (Alliance for Audited Media) reporting, filing and participate in AAM audits, Kiosk and crewing billing (payroll), Gift card ordering and tracking. Monitor and approve customer refunds and charge backs. Observe customer/clerk calls, create scripting, and implement sales campaigns. OSG billing and campaigns {new invoice system} as well as Single Copy, account set-up, draw adjustments. I am also familiar with iControl and Nexxus billing. I also participated in putting together the budget for our department and was a part of strategic planning for the Circulation Department.

As Production Supervisor I scheduled and managed customers’ newspapers that were printed and assembled (inserted, labeled and prepared for mailing or carrier distribution) by approximately 20 to 30 employees over two shifts. I also trained and worked alongside employees in the Bindery Dept. using large scale cutters, folders, stitcher/trimmer and Cheshire labeling machine. In addition, Customer Service was a main focus in this position. I would maintain all customer relations and account along side the Sales Manager, wrote quotes and invoices. Monitored preproduction of customer files for printing followed up on proofs and edits as well as scheduled deliveries. As a member of the Operations Committee, I worked closely with all department heads and helped make decissions regarding the organizations success.
