I have worked at the VA for 13 years and have moved my way up the ladder. I love working with people and serving the veterans. I am active in our National Blinded and Disabled Veterans TEE Tournament and have held a head chair postion on the committee for 11 years. I enjoy taking pictures and teaching people what skills I know. In the future I hope to gain more of a leadership role at the VA.Specialties: I have a very good knowledge of insurance companies and policies. I assisted clinics with checking in and out patients, scheduling appointments and test, answer phone calls. I also assisted case nurse managers with any clerical assistance they needed. I order and kept track of any outside labs for patients in other facilities other than the VA. I also was the main training clerk and trained new employees. I also created a training manual for all clerks.
