I started as a host when I was in college, spent 6 years working my way up the operations ladder, and then chose to move onto the Training/HR path at the corporate level. I found my passion for training and people development while strengthening my relationships and leadership on the operations side. I enjoyed partnering with operations for product rollouts, staffing, on-boarding, training programs, succession planning, and recognition. I was fortunate enough to work for several amazing leaders in operations and HR which gave me invaluabe exposure at the executive level of a publicly traded company. I had the opportunity to work on several projects that strengthened and defined the culture in a very unique manner, including the development of our vision about the way we treated our stakeholders and our commitments to each other. This cascaded into hiring assessments, training, and performance management. My time at Champps were instrumental in my career development.
