I am an experienced Attorney and advocate for traditionally underserved and disparately impacted populations with a demonstrated 16+ year career working in the non-profit, legal services, and disability rights fields. I am currently the Pro Bono Director at Veterans Legal Services in Boston, MA. In this position, I focus on creating and maintaining thriving partnerships with Massachusetts attorneys and law firms committed to providing pro bono legal assistance and representation to Massachusetts military veterans. At VLS we strive to help Massachusetts veterans overcome adversity by providing free civil legal aid that honors their service, promotes well-being, and responds to their distinctive needs. Additionally, I serve as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging officer at VLS, where I provide support and resources to our team in an effort to ensure that everyone we work with and serve feels seen, heard, respected and a sense of belonging.I am also a Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach. In 2019 I planned, executed and facilitated the Joyful Mama Retreat, a weekend-long all-inclusive retreat for moms. I hope to offer this retreat once again in the near future. Finally, I enjoy freelance translation work between English and Spanish and am an Award-Winning Book Translator for the book La Princesa Monroe & Su Final Feliz (translation for Princess Monroe & Her Happily Ever After by Jody Vallee Smith).
