Since 1987, I have worked across the human services and education landscapes developing, overseeing, delivering, and advocating for a broad range of programs and policy changes to reach and lift up those at the margins. Currently, I am proud to lead First 5 Sonoma County, guiding strategic community investments to support children, birth to five, their families and our community providers through a lens of equity and social justice. The dream that propels me forward every day is a world and local communities where every child has the opportunity to succeed, thrive and pursue their own dreams. As a transitional leader, I thrive on change and being part of a shared evolution of ideas into real-life solutions for dismantling systemic inequity. I'm at my best when collaborating with thought partners to achieve a collective vision.Areas of talent: organizational development, sustainability planning, managing organizational change, systems improvement, partnership-building, fund development, persuasive communication and resource allocation.
