Behavioral Health Technician
CurrentA behavior technician is a professional who works with individuals with behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities. They implement behavior intervention plans and strategies designed by behavior analysts to help clients develop and improve their social, communication, and daily living skills. They use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to assess and modify behavior, collect data on behavior and treatment progress, provide direct support and instruction to clients, collaborate with other professionals, communicate with clients' families, and maintain accurate records. The goal of a behavior technician is to help individuals improve their quality of life and reach their full potential.
