I spent two years in Kindergarten at CBE, and then was transferred to first grade where I am currently teaching. It has been six amazing years at Barton!

I was a household manager for a family of four. My main focus was helping two young girls -- who at the time of were six and eight years of age. I oversaw their calendars including their multi-sports schedules as well as school activities and studies. I helped cook, chauffeur, and clean, as well as plan and execute most weekly and monthly activities.

Greater Seattle Area

I started in Kids Wear at the DT Seattle store for the holiday season. I worked for two months full time, and then switched departments for a full time position after the holiday. After 6 months, managers saw I could be well suited in management, and I accepted a job in a department as the assistant manager. I was the Asst. Manager for the Petites/Narrative department at the DT Seattle Flagship store for the rest of my time at Nordstrom. I oversaw more than 12 employees at once, and helped them with sales, relationship building, marketing, floor arranging, visual guidance, and customer service. I also worked with the manager to make daily, monthly, and yearly goals. I was a big part of healthy and effective communication between the store manager, regional merchandiser, and buyers of the department(s) to keep figures up, and motivation high. Working with the customers was the highlight of this job, as well as going through the Future Nordstrom Leader seminar.

Camp Casey & Bastyr University

I started as a senior counselor the summer after college in 2010, and was promoted to assistant program director my second summer in 2011. As APD, I maintly assisted the program director with all camp related issues. I oversaw the evening activities every night for the resident campers. I participated in hiring our senior and junior counseling staff, athletic trainers, volunteers, and other camp staff. Other duties included: assigning daily tasks to counseling staff, mediating with parents and coaches, administrative work, registration for camp, scheduling/planning events for specific weeks, running camp meetings, coaching on the field, and organizing paperwork (registration, health information, etc). It is a camp full of quality soccer, great campers, and wonderful staff. I was honored to be a part of it.

Greater Seattle Area

As the athletic office assistant, I was in charge of helping the senior administrative team in the athletic office. These duties included: answering a multi-phone line, keeping the schedule maintained for the three gyms, helping coaches with paperwork, and overseeing scheduling and registration for summer camps. I also had a big part in managing the NCAA basketball tournament in March, as well as big fundraisers for the division two teams at the school. Golf tournaments, charity auctions, and other events were extremely fun to be apart of.
