Duties ncluded authorizing purchase orders, collecting credit card receipts, organizing account withdrawals, and keeping the general ledger, and auditing expense reports. Other accounting transactions included accounts receivable, which focuses on the billing of customers, and payroll, which focuses on paying the organization's employees.

Coordinate and schedule all radio station advertising according to account executives broadcast orders and contractsEnsure all spots air according to said contractsGenerate invoices, statements, and month end reports for all advertisersTrouble-shoot problems with traffic broadcasting equipmentMaintain all files and account history archives

Determine purchasing needs according to past sales historyBe mindful of current inventory and place orders to meet the stock room and customer requirementsMonitor net costs and make changes to the customer catalogue as necessaryAssist in adding new items, current prices, etc. to the customer catalogAssist in the shipping/receiving and packaging departments as needed

Audit daily export files sent from 31 locations and communicate any missing files or system errors to appropriate partiesResearch and respond to vendor and business manager inquiries regarding invoice and payment informationAudit images and data entry submitted from 8 locations for accuracy and completeness. Communicate any data entry or image errors to the respective locations and follow up to ensure requested items are receivedKey miscellaneous invoices from 8 locationsAid in monthly and annual closes by monitoring progress of entire accounts payable staff and ensuring all invoices are processed and posted to the general ledger by the specified deadlineTrain all new/temporary staff members in the accounts payable system, including Merkur fax software and PeopleSoft accounts payable softwareReceived Dave and Buster’s “Wings” for outstanding performance
