We started as a catalogue mail order company based in Cupertino, CA U.S.A. working off out of our one bedroom apartment. While my husband worked at one of the companies in Silicon Valley, I stayed home to take care of our son, taking orders over the phone from customers all over U.S. who want beads for their bead stores or for their jewelry business.Our first 20-page catalogue was printed in Cebu, Philippines. We advertised in one of the most successful jewelry magazines in the U.S. where we slowly developed our customer mailing list. In 2000, the e-commerce started to take over most of the catalogue business. It was a slow transition but had added additional market for us. By then we have grown 3 times our size and moved north to Petaluma, CA where we can get a bigger place cheaper than in Silicon Valley.In 2004, we opened an office in Cebu, Philippines, Isla Bead Co., Inc who took over our customer service, Accounting, purchasing, IT and Marketing, leaving our Petaluma office as our main distribution-fulfillment office.

Oversees 31,000+ customer accounts through friendly, efficient and accommodating customer service staff. Responsible in hiring and training of new customer service personnel. Attended seminars and conventions in the U.S. focusing on Customer Service. Conducted training to own staff on "Knock Your Socks Off" and "Coaching Knock Your Socks Off Customer Service".Attended and participated various jewerly and trade shows in U.S., HongKong, China, and the Philippines.Constantly learning new knowledge in e-commerce to support technical aspects of the company's website and navigational capabilities to help customers in order placement and research.
