I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Master's degree from Hong Kong Baptist University. Currently, I'm a Research Assistant at HKBU, focusing on building blockchain scaling solutions.With experience in both research and industry, I previously worked as a project-based research analyst at CASH Financial Services Group, where I developed Cash Radar for real-time analysis of extensive historical financial datasets. During my internship at Tencent, I contributed to the journaling system of Tendis. As an undergraduate at HKMU, I assisted in analyzing terabytes of derivative warrant transaction records.My interested experiences & skills spans three key areas:1. Data Processing: Analyzing large datasets by writing efficient system code.2. System Programming: Building and applying storage systems.3. Blockchain Scaling Solutions: Deploying and implementing layer 2 scaling solutions.I'm a passionate about understanding and crafting computer systems, I believe that compliexity can be managed through the right low-level abstractions. I've authored blogs exploring serveral system that I was intersted in CS: The design and implementation of operating systems (OSDI) like Minix3 and Xv6 (os), and documented my journey in building a C compiler named weicc.
