My role was to analyse other models capable of working in real time and to analyse different types of techniques and data to improve the accuracy and stability of the models. To do this, I developed a weapon detection system that works in real time by combining a model trained on a dataset created and modified for this work, and various techniques that allow the model to have a lower false positive rate. The resulting system improved in both inference time and accuracy over the previous model, and thanks to the improvements made, the model was sold to a US company. Show less
