Still early in my career, my passion and experience is almost exclusively in the business and performance of music and sport.I have over 8-years of experience working as an independent artist and a manager of artists. My love for music led me to study Business in Leeds, majoring in Music Business at Leeds Conservatoire from which I graduated with a 1:1 in 2020. During this time, I took to helping local, national, and international artists with fundamental managerial activities, multiple event curations, and bookings of national independent venue tours. I have also helped manage a family business for over 5-years, operating simultaneously as a sales representative, a bookkeeper, a delivery driver, and a manager of supplier and customer relations, giving me invaluable experience in working multiple roles within an operational organisation. This collective experience working in business management and coming to understand the perpetual unscrupulous exploits particularly in the music industry, I am determined to create a change for good with my latest venture - Gighabit. In working in multiple independent venues and conducting extensive research through my time at university, I've experienced first-hand some of the many inequitable ways artists, event organisers, and venues are treated by the powers that be. Unfortunately, the current industry provides no holistic solution despite being very aware of the deep-rooted pain points.
