After completing my A-levels, I took a GAP year and had 3 jobs. All 3 of the jobs enabled me to learn new skills as well as developing existing ones, such as confidence, proactiveness, and problem-solving. Each job involved working with people of all different ages and abilities, which helped to strengthen my communication skills. I also developed good organisation skills as I had to plan my time well in order to successfully juggle multiple roles.I have just completed my second year of a three-year course, studying for a BSc (Hons) degree in Geography at Sheffield Hallam University.This year as part of my degree, I have completed a work placement at Gogreen LTD. This gave me valuable experience within a workplace, having been given a project to develop and oversee. The project involved working on an area of land and identifying ways in which the land could increase economic growth and support with company's goal of reaching net zero.
