Our most prized accomplishment is the sheer number of repeat-customers we enjoy across government, corporate, health and education sectors. My time is shared between both project estimating and project managing. My role first involves transferring the project plan to our estimating program (Floor Estimating Pro). I need to then detail all the quantities needed and input these into the software program. I then organise the quote and hand this over to the sales team. I also closely liaise with the customer to organise a schedule that works for them.The key responsibilities of my role are:ESTIMATION■ Review plans and specifications to identify product location and application requirements.■ Request and organize all materials necessary for project submissions. ■ Collect material cost from suppliers.■ Analyze application of materials and apply the appropriate labour rates.STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT■ Developing and maintaining solid working relationships with facility managers, school business managers, maintenance staff and school principals to name a few.PROJECT MANAGEMENT■ Responsible for review of project budget reports and client/consultant invoices.■ Creating a timeline for the design project and estimating project costs.■ Managing adherence to office standards of design, quality control, and installation.■ Reviewing and assuring document accuracy for clients, consultants, and project team.ISSUE RESOLUTION ■ Visiting on-site and troubleshooting any issues which may arise. Often I am working in sensitive environments, so I make sure we plan out our time to minimise the disruption to the facility. HANDOVER■ Completing handover at the end of project delivery and rectifying any matters.■ Writing up a project report outlining the outcome of the project. Show less
