After a period of travel and voluntary work, I joined Marmion to learn how to match people seeking permanent work with companies searching for talent professionally and ethically. Working in a business focused on doing things to a high standard makes my role easier, as I feel confident that if I make an introduction between 2 parties, it’s done for the right reasons, and will be long lasting. Whilst we do not specialise in a particular sector, I am encouraged to focus on the thing that interests me most, and that would be technology and associated markets. Having just completed my level 3 IT & Telecommunications Diploma means that I am able to use my understanding of the tech environment and associated language when creating a recruitment campaign on behalf of a clients, and then effectively screening candidates because I ask the right questions. This definitely engenders trust and confidence, as I can see beyond the job description because I consider the environment in which candidates will work and the impact their roles have on the businesses/clients who use my services.
