Since leaving School in 1992 I have pursued a career in the Northern Beef Industry starting out as a Jackeroo in 1993 and working my way up the ladder to General Manager of operations in Consolidated Pastoral Company. During my time in the industry I have been very fortunate to work along side and for some very talented and successful people who have gone on and become industry leaders. This opportunity along with working for the 2 largest corporate agricultural companies as well as renowned private operators has given me exposure to working in 3 states and numerous climatic conditions as well as being involved in numerous successful businesses. From an early age I have prided myself on my honesty , integrity and loyalty and more recently the development of people through mentoring. My whole working career has been focussed around people and making the most of every opportunity. One of my talents and interests is being able to problem solve and being able to look at under performing individual business and turn them around into profitability. Over the last 3 years I have set up a business backgrounding cattle for the live export trade. In the last 12 months this business has turned off 35,000 head into the Indonesian and Vietnam markets.
