I lead a team of mineral processing specialists to provide (mainly) froth flotation operational and project support to our platinum, copper, and iron ore businesses in Africa and Latam. Although primarily responsible for the flotation discipline, I also oversee projects and studies in gravity and microwave separation, ore sensing and sorting, and process water management.

I managed a team of researchers to deliver a suite of industry-focused projects to improve the design, operation and control of novel mineral processing equipment. I was also a Chief Investigator in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Enabling Eco-Efficient Beneficiation of Minerals.

I built a portfolio of industry-focused research projects to optimise the design and operation of novel mineral processing equipment such as the Eriez HydroFloat. I managed a seven-figure budget and a technical team to deliver these projects for my industrial partners, including Anglo American (Platinum, Steelmaking Coal, Iron Ore Brazil) and Newcrest.

I worked in a multi-national consortium of universities, SMEs and junior miners on an EU-funded project to develop a modular and containerised processing plant capable of rapid deployment and redeployment across a range of commodities in response to market conditions.

I worked on froth flotation troubleshooting, process optimisation, and advanced process control projects on copper and gold operations in Chile, Finland and Spain.

I worked on a range of comminution and classification troubleshooting and optimisation projects in the South African platinum, diamonds, and mineral sands industries.
