I graduated from the University of Bath in 1994 with a BEng Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering. From 1995 to 2000 I worked as a Test and Development Engineer at TWR Engineering specialising in vehicle aerodynamics. I joined MIRA in 2000 as an aerodynamics consultant and was promoted to team leader in 2002. I had technical and project management responsibility for all aerodynamics projects that utilised the Full-Scale Wind Tunnel, Model Wind Tunnel as well as Computational Fluid Dynamics. I worked at the Auto Research Center in Indianapolis from 2011 to 2016 and was responsible for major consultancy projects as well as developing capabilities in both wind tunnel testing and CFD. More recently I was Head of Aerodynamics & CFD at FF in LA, an electric, connected vehicle startup, responsible for building the team, method development and engineering of low drag solutions for multiple different vehicle platforms. I am a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society. I am also an accomplished public speaker with numerous appearances at conferences and seminars world-wide.Specialties: Automotive Aerodynamics & Thermal Management, including Motorbike, Passenger Car, Truck, Coach and Motorsport.
