Working for Northgate Information Systems on one of the biggest 2003 Active Directory environment in Europe; 200,000 users across 1200 sites. Predominately establishing connections and replication between these new sites and 3rd line troubleshooting

Duties included construction of the production Lotus Domino Messaging environment. This included installation, setup, configuration and documentation of a 4,000 user Domino Clustered Messaging environment. I was also responsible for devising the migration process and procedures now in use by migration engineers.

Duties included design, implementation and integration of IT solutions for the business.Wrote and achieved sign off for the following business cases; atomic time piece replacement, Office 97 to 2003 upgrade, replacement of all CAT3 cabling in the enterprise.I was also responsible for integration of a Web based collaborative tool and Citrix solution

Working as a technical consultant for the Criminal Justice IT (CJIT) & Youth Justice Board (YJB) with responsibility for assessing messaging, network and infrastructure environments of Local Authorities and associated bodies and, after environmental appraisal, devising solutions to establish connection to the Government Secure Network (GSN) and Government Criminal Justice Secure Email service.This was a wide and varied role involving the provision of restricted level information transferral across all Criminal Justice system practitioners. Was wholly responsible for redesigning the Server based solution for the Criminal Justice Secure Mail (CJSM) https://www.cjsm.net/ platform which is now in use across the majority of local authorities in England and Wales, Police, Courts and various Criminal Justice Practitioners. Predominately Mail encryption using TLS (Transport Layer Security) and in depth Certificate Encryption troubleshooting

Adherence to ITIL Service Management methodologies.Undertook a business case sign off for; a hardware refresh, server consolidation, operating system and Lotus Notes messaging system upgrade project.Enterprise SAN and Storage consolidation project. ComputaCenter ProjectsMy role at Seeboard was wide and varied, working for ComputaCenter within their technical projects section. Initially work required upgrading the backend LAN infrastructure. Additional work was undertaken to consolidate data from multiple servers to fewer high capacity ones, including an NT4 Cluster. I investigated the topology of the network, reported findings and assisted in devising and implementing means and mechanisms to effect appropriate modifications. This required the development of an Access database to facilitate the generation of relevant reports. Subsequent work involved upgrading the desktop operating system followed by a roll out of new desktop PC’s.
