Managed the technical teams at Elcom (developers, testers, systems administrators and support staff), guided elcomCMS product development, represented Elcom in pre-sales meetings, evangelised the product to partners and provided technology guidance to the executive team.Implemented a diverse range of medium to large intranet, e-commerce and website projects.

Elcom is a Microsoft Gold Partner ISV specialising in Content Management Systems, intranet and web development, and web hosting for users of the elcomCMS. I started with them in a developer role as I wanted to stretch my technical skills with .NET and web application development.

This was a contract role in Macquarie Bank's Investment Banking Group, running a project to implement a virtual deal room system using a customised version of Worksite Web 8.2 and developing/modifying existing .NET (C# and VB), VB6 and VBA applications.

I started a software distribution business to import and re-sell Snow Software's software asset management (SAM) solution. This was a great learning experience in terms of sales and marketing skills, but ultimately was not the success it could have been.

Starting as a Senior Consultant, I quickly moved into a Project Manager role with Dancrai. We delivered bespoke software development solutions to clients in a range of technologies.Created a MDS data gathering product for NSW Health and the ePayroll product for AussiePay.

Setup a web design business in the heady, early days of web development. Merged with The Citadel and had several key customers such as KONE Australia and Meat Research Corporation. It was a great learning experience in terms of how to run a business, how to develop websites, sales processes and project management.
