Hi, I’m Angus Taylor and have been specialising in optimising educational space and workplace since 1984. I’ve been a Senior Partner at Maris Interiors LLP since 2005 and am Education Services Director.Over this time, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients and developed first-hand experience for optimising campuses and workplaces to create high-performance, future-proof, sustainable environments that people enjoy and thrive in. My role involves ensuring clients' receive best advice and service and that we provide the perfect solution, meeting their specific requirements, budget and programme.Generally, I am the first person a prospective client meets. I am friendly, professional and pragmatic. I like to engage in open and honest dialogue and quickly establish whether there are synergies between what we provide and what you (if you are a prospective client) are looking for. My goal is to add value to the process and ensure we deliver a fantastic experience and enjoyable journey. Home wise, I met my wife in 1995 in London. We have two adult daughters. One now hybrid working in London and one completing a musical theatre degree. I’ve had cancer twice (and had my right arm amputated in 2010 due to sarcoma). My wife was also very ill in 2018 when she developed devic’s disease and was paralysed for some time. I’m a slight enigma to the medical establishment as I was given a year to live in 2010 and did not do chemotherapy or radiation treatment. As the cancer had metastasised to both lungs this was not a lightly made decision. If I can ever offer any input to someone regarding health creation then please reach out. I may have a few suggestions. I’ve also learned a bit about dealing with a disability and having to retrain myself from being right handed to left handed. My motto is ‘treat others as you want to be treated’ and I act with honesty and integrity, humour and good intentions.
