Founder
CurrentHope Education Project (HEP) was borne out of my direct experience repatriating Nigerian women trafficked to Dubai for sexual exploitation. My close involvement with rescuing, repatriating and supporting these victims motivated me to work on disrupting and preventing this tragedy at its source.HEP is a human trafficking education and awareness program for schools and communities in northeastern Ghana. The program has been created in conjunction with our academic partner, The Global Center on Human Trafficking at Montclair State University in the USA and our NGO partners in Ghana, Norsaac, Savana Signatures and Act For Change. The program incorporates robust monitoring and evaluation modules to enable refinements after the pilot stage. We have secured permission and support from the Ghana Education Service and the West Mamprusi Municipality to launch the pilot scheme in Walewale. Once proven, our program can be scaled throughout Ghana. HEP is creating a working group in Tamale for stakeholders involved in human trafficking and SRHR in order to share information, foster collaboration and coordinate efforts to disrupt human trafficking in the Northern, Upper East and North East Regions of Ghana. The Hope Education Project is registered as a non-profit in Ghana and the US
