Before joining the IT world in 2016 I'll be honest I had absolutely no interest in IT! I actually started out wanting to be an actor but that's another story for another day.As I started out in the industry I realised that there was so much to learn and get to grips with. But what I learnt from this is God Help Business Owners who have to understand the matrix that is the world of IT!!!! Still to this day I do not pretend to know everything about IT because that would be pointless but what I have learnt and what I do know is how to find the right solutions to the IT problems faced by SME's.I love working in the SME sector as there are so many great business with great people behind them. I thoroughly enjoy working with Business Owners/Directors to get rid of the stress that they may be having which could be solved by something I could give guidance on. Lets be honest Business Owners/Directors have better things to do than spend their days ripping their hair out about problems with IT!I also have a real interest in Cyber Security and how individuals and businesses can keep themselves protected. I have mostly self taught myself in the ways that nasty people could compromise to your systems or steal your data and hold it to ransom. I could strangely talk for hours on this topic and I regularly do (My wife is already sick to death of hearing me talk to her about it!)My main focus and what drives me on a personal level is making sure that what I do professionally, means something. So hearing "Everything is so much better now" and "I can sleep better at night now" and "I've got the staff off my back now" (and More) is what makes me know that I am in a position to help people.
