Angy Elyamany is a distinguished expert in the fields of gender equality, women's economic empowerment, artificial intelligence, cyber technologies, and digital financial inclusion through innovative Fintech solutions. Based in Egypt, Angy has been an integral part of the National Council for Women (NCW) since 2002. She currently holds three pivotal roles within the organization: Financial Inclusion National Program Director and Family Development National Project Coordinator, in addition to her main role as the General Manager of the Systems and Applications and Technical Support. Angy holds a Master's degree in Development Cooperation and International Studies from South Korea.Angy oversees and implements Digital Financial Inclusion initiatives, with a specific focus on the Digital Saving and Loans Associations (D-VSLA) “Ta7wisha” projects. These projects are aimed at enhancing digital financial inclusion in rural villages. Angy supervises the planning and execution of NCW’s activities under the economic empowerment and awareness pillars of the Family Planning National Project and is responsible for the digitalization of the organization’s business processes. Her expertise extends to her participation in several national committees, including the National Committee for the Smart Green Governorates national initiative and the Committee of the Banks Federation under the National Project for Family Development.She has been an active speaker and moderator in various panel discussions, including the latest OECD/CBE international webinar on financial literacy and women's economic empowerment. Angy’s work is characterized by her extensive focus on women's economic empowerment and her specialization in cyber and digital financial inclusion.
