Supporting students in anatomy through cadaver lab sessions outside of lectures and contribute to maintain all learning materials explored in lab. Guiding students in chemistry problem-solving through sessions outside of lectures and host sessions for additional support outside regular office hours. I work closely with an investigative team, conducting human muscle physiology research with participants. I actively participate in all aspects of our research, including hands-on involvement in data collection and analysis.

As Co-President, I lead weekly general and board meetings, overseeing the Community Outreach Coordinator, Student Engagement Coordinator, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator. My responsibilities include planning and coordinating all meeting events, arranging guest speakers from the medical field, and maintaining community relationships. Providing educational and social resources for club members. I support the Community Outreach team in organizing events like CPR and suture clinics.

As the Community Outreach led, organized, and executed all medical skills and development events each academic term and coordinated volunteer opportunities for general members. Collaborated with the Co-presidents to plan and host various events, such as Suture Clinics, Ultrasound clinics, Triage workshops, and Blood drives. Managed and supervised the blood drive committee throughout the academic term it was hosted.

As Secretary, I managed all weekly or biweekly communications about club meetings and relevant opportunities in the medical field. I recorded meeting minutes during executive board meetings and updated the University student organization forum (Engage) with our events and meeting times. Additionally, I collaborated with the Social Media Coordinator to promote our activities, monitor our email, and keep the group informed of important messages.

As a second-time recipient, I spent a week each summer shadowing the Columbia Anesthesia Group(2023) at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital and the Oregon Anesthesia Group (2024) at Legacy Emanuel Hospital/ Randall Children’s Hospital. I got to observe a variety of surgeries and other clinical procedures to gain insight and experience the day-to-day life of a physician working in the Portland metro area.

As a Global Heath Leader Intern, I traveled to the Dominican Republic and worked in pop-up clinics to provide free healthcare to the greater community of Punta Cana. Skills performed during clinic days included taking medical history in Spanish, taking vitals, aid in evaluating symptoms, and helped distribute prescriptions. Our team provided medical care to about 80 people a day in each community.
