A 10 week UX Design and Research immersive course structured around 3 design projects (listed below), which exercised UX processes of: user research, data synthesis, ideation, rapid prototyping, and testing.__________________________________________________________________________UX Designer & Researcher, Oakland Symphony EVENTS | Responsive Web Design + Service Design: • Objective: 2-week project to create a digital solution for the Oakland Symphony in its efforts to attract more Millennials to their symphony performances and remain relevant in the coming years• Design processes and deliverables included: secondary research, competitive and comparative analysis, user research, surveys, user interviews, data synthesis, personas, usability testing, journey mapping, site maps and user flows, wireframes, clickable prototype, UI Design, Style + Branding guildelines, and final design report/presentation.____________UX Designer & Researcher, Progress Hardware - Website Design• Objective: 1-week project to design an ecommerce site for a local San Francisco hardware store to expand their business as well as drive more customers into their brick-and-mortar location• Design processes and deliverables included: stakeholder interviews, competitive and comparative analysis, secondary research, user research, quantitative and qualitative research, card sorting, usability testing, journey mapping, site maps, developing wireframes with specifications, developing a clickable prototype to test flows and user journeys.____________UX Designer & Researcher, "VEGLIFE" - Mobile App Design• Objective: 3-day project to design a mobile app which would allow vegetarians (or those with dietary restrictions) to quickly locate, dine at, and rate restaurants based on how vegetarian-friendly they are • Design processes explored: user research, secondary research, competitive and comparative analysis, storyboarding and scenarios, sketching and wireframes, usability testing.
