I am fascinated by how things work, problem solving, and the beauty of nature. During my studies at the University of Arizona, I learned that beauty can manifest itself in a system of order and organization, combining the three aspects of architecture in which I was most interested: people, problem solving, and biomimetics.The context of a design must integrate land, earth, sky, as well as the existing features in and around the site itself. This is essential in order to produce a self-sufficient building, as well as be aesthetically pleasing. Attention to detail in the design process is necessary to improve the lives of others by creating spaces that evoke thought and facilitate social integration, in addition to pleasing the client and their audience. Good design enhances the experience felt in a space whether staying, living, looking, or visiting, all while accommodating people's needs. Making these aspects of life more efficient results in better living and leading healthier lives. Natural systems are fascinating in that they can be merged with building skins, mechanical systems, foundations, etc. - systems that use technology and science to merge the efficiency and sustainability of nature with the creation of lasting structures constructed by man.I am proficient with Revit, AutoCad, Rhino, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lumion. I very much enjoy hands-on work, especially model-building and fabrication. I receive others' ideas well and contribute my own, interacting with my peers to achieve our common goals. I work hard, strive for efficiency, always meet deadlines, am self-motivated, and have a love of learning!
