About Anh Le

Anh is the Director of Marketing & PR at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis (OTSL), overseeing all sales campaigns, audience development initiatives, and media relations while providing key strategic support for company-wide community engagement efforts. In her first season in this role, OTSL saw a 6% increase in total ticket buyers for the 2019 Festival Season, and an even more impressive 14% increase in first-time ticket buyers. When OTSL pivoted to its first-ever outdoor season in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company sold out every performance in less than three weeks. Anh has also spearheaded the growth of digital strategies at OTSL, from the launch of a festival smartphone app to the unveiling of a new website to the HD capture and gated streaming of no fewer than eight opera films, all within the 2020 and 2021 calendar years. In addition to her duties at OTSL, Anh is deeply involved with OPERA America, where she serves as a board member, the Co-Chair of the Communications Council, the Co-Chair of the Marketing Network, and a Steering Committee member of the Racial Justice Opera Network. Anh was a featured member of American delegation at the inaugural World Opera Forum in 2018, served on OPERA America's Civic Action Forum in 2017 and 2018, and participated in the inaugural administrative class of The Dallas Opera’s Hart Institute for Women Conductors and Administrators in 2017. Anh graduated from Harvard University in 2012 with a BA in History & Literature, and received honors of Cum Laude in her field, along with Harvard’s Robert E. Levi Prize for Excellence in Arts Management. In 2015, Anh completed an MFA degree in Theater Management at the Yale School of Drama, where she also served as the Associate Director of Marketing for Yale Repertory Theatre.Inspired by a lifelong love of opera, Anh first entered arts management by planning an international performance tour for her college choir and producing the Lowell House Opera, which staged the American premiere of the original Russian-language opera "Snegurochka" by Rimsky-Korsakov under her leadership. In the spring of 2014, Anh completed a fellowship with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis while still a graduate student, and served as the Interim Public Relations Manager for the latter half of her time there. She has also completed internships with a broad range of artistic organizations, including the Palm Springs Art Museum (Palm Springs, CA), DESTE Art Foundation (Athens), A.R.T. (Cambridge), and Opera Holland Park (London).
