Proctors assist the Administrator/Proctor with test administration duties, although the duties depend on the type of assistance the Administrator needs. Proctors generally perform or assist in a variety of functions.This is a part-time position, Toefl iBT and ETS test, approximately 12 hours per week on an as needed basis including Saturdays and SundaysEssential Functions include but are not limited to:- Post directional signs and direct examinees to the appropriate reporting site, testing rooms, and rest rooms;- Arrange testing rooms; answer examinees' general (general) procedural questions;- Check examinees' admission tickets and identification;- Direct examinees to their specific seats; distribute and collect test materials to and from each examinee individually;- Walk about the room frequently to guard against improper conduct and to ensure that every examinee is working on the appropriate section of the test;- Stand at the door to the testing room during breaks to ensure that test materials are not removed;- Check rest rooms immediately after the test begins, and periodically thereafter, to be sure that the rooms contain no testing aids;Additional Functions:- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or his/her designee.- Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of the testing center, professional protocols, and individual privacy.
