Ladon Language is an award-winning Public Benefit Corporation that bridge the language and cultural barriers between the private and public sector players and immigrant communities. Find us at www.ladonlanguage.com Since our inception in late 2016, we have built a team of more than one hundred language assistants. We offer services in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Arabic and provide document translation, phone hotline, or in-person assistance. We have supported or partnered with multiple local and international organizations to launch some social initiatives. Recent projects include:• Working with LGBTI refugees to help with resettlement• Helping homeless people with limited English proficiency access social services• Assisting non-English-speaking parents in communicating with teachers and administrators around the health and well-being of their children both in and out of the classroom• Providing free language support to responders to hurricane-stricken areas • Helping shelter workers communicate with victims of the earthquakes in Mexico

At the Clinton Global Initiative University 2016, Anh-Thu won the Social Venture Challenge, which is a multi-step competition designed to inspire undergraduate students to propose impactful, socially-responsible projects addressing pressing social issues around the world. As a Resolution Fellow, Anh-Thu is joining a network of young and socially responsible leaders who are impacting over 65 countries around the world.

Anh-Thu was one of the exemplary commitment makers that the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) selected to join the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting 2016. The CGI Annual Meeting provided a global stage to amplify the impact of members' Commitments to Action, dynamic sessions for members to challenge approaches and share expertise, and a forum for shaping the global development agenda. Since its inception, CGI Annual Meetings have brought together 190 sitting and former heads of state, more than 20 Nobel Prize laureates, and hundreds of leading CEOs, heads of foundations and NGOs, major philanthropists, and members of the media. To date, more than 3,600 commitments have been made, improving the lives of over 435 million people in more than 180 countries.

For her work at Ladon Technologies PBC, Anh-Thu became one of the 2016 Grand Prize Winners. She joins a network of talented young people in or from California who are promoting positive social change through innovations.

As a Bioengineering student at UC Berkeley, Anh-Thu interned at Pfizer's Andover site. This is a 70-acre site that combines state-of-the-art R&D facilities with flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities. Andover is strategically positioned as a fully integrated site, serving as a vital cog in both Pfizer's WRD and Pfizer Global Supply networkAs a member of the Department of Engineering, Maintenance, and Utilities and contributed to projects that strengthened the capacity of the manufacturing plants that services multiple therapeutic areas.
