Currently, I am the IDS/CPG Group Manager at RoviSys. IDS stands for Information Development Services, which has been the traditional type of work my group deals with. Our target market are companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, where there is a strong need for MES development and OEE configuration. I did a lot of the daily maintenance work such as: backing up the DCS and BMS system, handle all the user administrative requests for the Clients on the field and the Unicorn systems, troubleshoot networking issues, and update graphics. My ongoing work that I did everyday was focused on upgrading the ABB ModConnect 300 system (which was UNIX based) to the new 800xA (windows based) system. I designed the Elements library and faceplates, graphics, trends, history configuration, hardware configuration, procedures, and wrote documentation for all the work implemented.
