Dr. Ani Atanasova holds two PhDs—one in Quantum & Optoelectronics and another in Science of Education, with a focus on gamification in the classroom. With an exceptional career spanning science, research, teaching, and industry, she has played a key role in several EU-patented projects related to magnetic field measurements, lasers, and laser applications.Since 2009, Dr. Ani has been the CEO of Pixelhunters, a Dubai-based company leading innovation in VR/AR/MR technologies, gamification, and immersive solutions. Pixelhunters delivers impactful projects across government and corporate sectors, emphasizing education, training, awareness, and marketing. With a legacy of over 15 years, the company has successfully delivered 1,500+ projects globally and garnered more than 150 prestigious international awards.In addition to her leadership at Pixelhunters, Dr. Ani serves on the advisory boards of several UAE universities, contributes as the UAE Correspondent for Young Business Leaders France, and leads as the Chairwoman of the UAE Chapter of the International Game Developers Association. She has been a long-time judge for globally recognized competitions, including the International Business Awards, Stevie Awards, and A’ Design Awards.
