I’m a writer, educator, culture shaper, full spectrum doula, reproductive justice advocate, program leader and health professional who uses my progressive background in DEI/BDJ and conscious communication experience to transform workplace and academic culture into spaces that center equity, belonging and collective satisfaction. I'm committed to improving outcomes for black mothers and babies. My unique background in performance and alternative healing have provided me the opportunity to build a diverse set of skills and experiences, not limited to conscious communication, team management, culturally competent care and sophisticated interpersonal relating. As a culture coach, doula and birth educator/advocate I've had the opportunity to unite both soft and hard business skills. This work has required me to run my own business in terms of marketing, budgeting and strategic planning.I'm a self-starter who's comfortable in both an ambiguous and structured environment. The majority of my self-employment endeavors has required me to be detail-oriented and versed in basic office computer applications.
