As an accomplished career journalist with nearly 20 years of experience in television news, I transitioned from a top-rated anchor and investigative reporter to a focus on a career as a writer, speaker and broadcaster with a niche in the outdoor and fishing industries. I am the author of the award-winning books "Secret Columbus" (Reedy Press), "100 Things To Do In Columbus Before You Die" (Reedy Press),and a contributing author to the bi-lingual book, "Yangzhou Through American Eyes" written in both English and Chinese. My outdoor and fishing expertise is often tapped by Newsweek and USA Today.As a female excelling in a male-dominated industry, I take pride in being a confident voice for women in the outdoor and fishing space through my writing, public speaking engagements and broadcast segments for television, radio and podcasts.
