Azure Video Analyzer (formerly Video Indexer) is a cloud-based platform, part of Microsoft Cognitive Services portfolio, that provides AI-based metadata extraction from video and audio content.Azure Media Services is a large-scale global live media streaming, encoding, and delivery platform.I joined the Video Indexer team during its early stages as the second Product Manager overall and the first US PM. I helped the product transition from the Preview phase to General Availability. I helped manage multiple facets of the product including engineering, data science, design, business planning, marketing, and customer success. I also helped the Azure Media Services team ship solutions for video analytics, live and on-demand transcoding, and adaptive HTTP streaming to multiple client platforms (internal and external).

I engaged in cross-organizational design and development with program managers and software engineers to integrate Azure video AI with custom workflow tools. I also evaluated the accuracy of our natural language processing tools that are offered as a part of the Cognitive Services APIs.

I evaluated the effectiveness of using convolutional neural networks in the development of a computer vision system for providing real-time parking data.

I developed software solutions in order to improve the user interface of multiple internal Forex financial applications.

I managed deliverables for the HP mobile workstation platforms by serving as a liaison between marketing and R&D. I also engaged in data analytics to evaluate market share, attach rate, and volume of platforms. Lastly, I created the Commodity Trend Report which was adopted globally by HP and further expanded to encompass more products.
