As Head of Engineering, oversaw the entire creation of the robot, from initial discussions and prototyping to final design and manufacture. Planned out our season and the build timeline, while working with and training younger team members on engineering, CAD (3D design), and robot building skills.

As Head of Robot Design (10), was responsible for all the CAD (3D design) for our team. Was the lead designer of the robot, utilizing the CAD software SolidWorks.

Worked with team to create a robot to accomplish specific tasks to score points in a competition. Assisted with robot prototyping, design, fabrication, and assembly, as well as in applying for various funding resources. Also participated in various volunteering outreach events to spread STEM knowledge.

Published & presented 3 research projects at the American Junior Academy of Science annual national conference as a North Carolina delegate. Projects involved applying machine learning in physics & medicine.

Founded a rookie coding school that offers individualized coding lessons to middle school students. Handled all aspects of the school including advertising, sign-ups, payment, and teaching

Assisted the Department of Political Science in digitizing & organizing records of black officeholders elected in the years immediately following the Voting Rights Act for more quantitative analysis.
