As a biotechnology professional with a strong academic foundation and a passion for research, I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from VIT Vellore. My expertise lies in molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification.For my Master’s thesis, I explored the role of L, D-transpeptidase and NDM4 in modulating beta-lactam resistance in Escherichia coli. This research provided valuable insights into the complex mechanisms of beta-lactam resistance and highlighted new potential strategies to combat antibiotic resistance. I am also proud to have contributed to a publication on identifying natural inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2, reflecting my commitment to impactful and timely research.In addition to my technical skills, I am highly adaptable, and collaborative, and I have demonstrated leadership as the Postgraduate Students’ Council representative for the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology at IIT Kharagpur. I have also developed strong language skills, having learned German and completed the A2 level in 2013, which has enriched my ability to engage with diverse teams and cultures. My experiences in both academic and extracurricular activities, such as participating in the Pasch Youth camp in Germany and New Delhi, have shaped my ability to work effectively in diverse teams and adapt to new challenges.I am now seeking PhD opportunities or research roles where I can contribute my expertise and enthusiasm to a dynamic team. I aim to advance scientific knowledge and develop innovative solutions to improve lives.In my free time, I enjoy playing and following sports like football and cricket, which keep me grounded and foster my team spirit.
