I am a highly dynamic, energetic, self-motivated, and skilled administrative professional with over 27 years of administrative experience having worked in the private and public sectors, and for the last 20 years in healthcare. In my current role as Administrative Coordinator, I support the clinical and academic requirements of more than 50 physicians in a very busy emergency department as well as supervise 10 administrative assistants which involve understanding the inner workings of various divisions, building strong relationships, creating networks, and fostering a strong and supportive team structure.I rate myself as being CHEO's biggest advocate for creating and maintaining an admin binder. Not only do admins need to have one, everyone needs clearly written procedures that make up your standard work.Having an admin binder shows your professionalism, your dedication, and that you simply care.I consider my leadership skills to be one of my biggest strengths. This is demonstrated in a number of ways, but overall I act with integrity, demonstrate competence, respect and prioritize healthy relationships with colleagues, motivate and support others, and finally, I think creatively and find ways to always make improvements. My dedication, passion, and commitment to my employer and to myself make me a great administrative professional.
