Working in the Financial Controller space. Managing the Balance Sheet and Cash teams for NA Fixed Income business

My responsibilities include,- Leading and managing a team of 4, ensuring the agreed SLA's are met on a monthly basis and metrics management.- Identifying and providing effective coaching within the team to fill in the training gaps.- Organizing the efforts of the team to achieve individual/organizational goals by identifying the right person for the right job through constant monitoring and feedback.- Developing new reconciliations for CS Holdings and NY branch at the beginning of 2014 as part of new requirements and delivered the same in Q1 2014.- Delivery of BAU and ensuring the deadlines are met for the FA, BMR & US Reg team on a monthly basis collectively from Pune as per US GAAP for all the stakeholders.- Maintaining strong relationship and working closely with various stakeholders which includes Product control, Legal entity controller, Regulatory team, Project team and capital reporting team to discuss issues and improving regular process task.- Continuous improvement of system architecture by understanding products accounting aspect.- Investigating and analyzing the reason of differences between ledger balances and in trade detail repository.

Fixed Income Financial Controller- Managed and handled the team which included businesses like SPG, Rates, Credit, Exotics and Hybrids and Private Banking along with Metrics management.- Handled projects for NA Fixed Income business which include shrinking the GL space, SLRR, IBSL and CDGL projects.- Main job profile includes making the General Ledger correct with reconciliation between the Sub-ledger and GL for Balance sheet accounts and overlooking into PnL.- Migrated the process in Dec 2009 from Delaware, Newark (USA).- Stabilized and deep dived in the process post the migration in 2009.- Working a Fixed Income Financial Controller for Securitized Products.- Conducted OJT in the initial phase of the migration to bring people up the curve.EMEA – Fixed Income Financial Controller- Promoted to Team Specialist while working for the EMEA Fixed Income business in June 2009.- Worked as the Fixed Income Financial Controller for the EMEA Fixed Income business mainly looking in the Corporate Orgs.- Managed the balance sheet for the corporate orgs which included Receivable/Payables, Nostros and Cost of Funding for Primary and Secondary Nostro accounts.- Certified the Balance sheet accounts in GLRS for the corporate orgs.- Got trained in other process which included the Sub-ledger to GL Reconciliation for EMEA Fixed Income business (including all the businesses).T&E Audits- Promoted to a Senior Team Member while working for the T&E Audit team.- Achieved & Focused as a responsible Team member in maintaining the SLA and the Turnaround time as a part of Audit Team.- One Point Contact for any Procedure/Policy Changes/ Updations – T&E Audit Operation.- Achieving Standardization in the amount of work done by every co-auditor on a weekly basis.

- Verification of Scanned Insurance Documents for Mortgage companies.- The processing of the Documents required good typing skills and high level of focus.- Achieved and exceeded the pre-set Targets with regards to Quantity and Quality.- Have provided OJT (On Job Training) to the new recruits in the initial phase to provide them knowledge related to the Process and their own pre-set targets.
