After completing my undergraduate degree in 2012, I started working with Coal India Limited, the largest coal producer in the world. At present, I am working as Manager in Excavation department in the company whose basic role is maintenance and repair of various HEMMs(Heavy Earth Moving Machineries). To perform my duties I have to lead a team of 25 members consisting of technicians, supervisors and a Assistant manager. The main skills involved in the assignment are scheduling, planning for procurement, troubleshooting, communication with service engineers and senior management, reporting and presenting various data etc. I am well acquainted with SAP and GeM(Government e-marketplace) portal which I have to use on day to day basis.Besides this I have worked in procurement department for 5 years where I was involved with e-tendering for electrical and mechanical repair works, services hiring, and procurement through GeM portal. The assignment also involved scrutiny of proposals, estimates and tender documents, drafting of tender documents, drafting of tender committee report etc. During this tenure I successfully established and managed repair cell under procurement department for hiring of works and services. I also played significant role in drafting of Tender document for e-tendering and migrating from offline tendering to e-tendering in my establishment which significantly increased the percentage of successful tenders. I also contributed in adoption of procurement through GeM portal in my establishment by attending various trainings, communication various issues with GeM authorities and conducting training sessions for subordinates. I have successfully performed the role of Central Public Information authority(CPIO), under RTI Act-2005, for 3 years for my establishment during which I responded to various RTI queries and represented my organization at Central Information Commission hearings.With this experience of 09 years involving different roles and responsibilities I look forward for better opportunities in middle management position in reputed companies in various roles to enhance my learnings and prove my capabilities.
