Current Project Planning and DesignOversee the planning and design of landscaping projects, including conceptual layouts, planting plans and hardscape designs.Ensure that designs are sustainable, functional and aligned with the project budget. Team Leadership and Coordination Lead teams of landscapers, contractors and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.Assign tasks, manage schedules and ensure that teams have the necessary materials and equipment. Budget and Cost ManagementDevelop project estimates, including labor, materials and equipment costs.Monitor expenses and adjust budgets to avoid overruns while maintaining high standards.Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs. Site ManagementOversee all on-site activities, including excavation, planting, irrigation, and installation of features like patios and walkways.Ensure that work is completed in accordance with design plans and meets quality standards.Resolve any site-specific issues or challenges that arise during construction. Client and Stakeholder CommunicationManage client expectations and ensure satisfaction through project milestones and final delivery. Quality Control and Inspections Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work meets landscaping industry standards and client specifications.Perform final site walkthroughs with clients to confirm project completion and quality. Environmental and Sustainability ConsiderationsIncorporate environment friendly practices, such as water-efficient irrigation systems and sustainable plant selections.Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and zoning requirements. Vendor and Subcontractor ManagementManage subcontractor agreements and ensure timely delivery of outsourced services.
