Senior Research Associate | Biomaterials | Therapeutic Development And Assessment
Current▪ Led the development, evaluation, and testing methodologies for 4 successful formulations. Engineered 2 formulations for cancer and 1 for microbial infections (bacteria and fungus) and neurodegeneration. ▪ Designed and executed experiments to optimize drug loading /encapsulation, release kinetics, and stability of nanoparticle-based delivery platforms and therapeutic assessments.▪ Hands-on experience in bioconjugate techniques (EDC/NHS, DCC, SH coupling) for the functionalization of DNA, protein, peptides, antibodies, PEG modifications, small molecule drugs, and molecular probes on the polymer & nanomaterials surface for biomedical application.▪ Provide technical guidance and hands on support for method development and characterization, planned and completed experiments, including procedures (SOPs), results, data analysis, and conclusions in appropriate formats (lab notebook, NIH progress report).▪ Experience in handling, usage, storage, and disposal of laboratory chemicals waste according to local regulatory guidelines (UGA) in compliance with Health & Safety and EPA (Environment Protection Agency).
