PROFESSIONAL PROFILEBesides my education in general linguistics, I have doctoral linguistics education in generative linguistics (syntax) with primary focus on the structure of the nominal expressions (in Hindi-English). I have post-doctoral and in-teaching experience in linguistic analysis and resources for computational application (mainly in English-Hindi and Hindi-English machine translation system environment). I have taught linguistics courses in general linguistics, morphology, syntax, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, language and society, English syntax, language teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have also taught courses in Basic English (language) and universal human values at the undergraduate level. I have research publications in English-Hindi linguistic divergence, linguistic analysis for machine translation (for English and Hindi languages), nominal expressions, multi-word expressions, word sense disambiguation, computational analysis of the brain processing of language, sense disambiguation of particle expressions (for Hindi language) and linguistic landscape analysis of linguistic and socio-cultural visuals. I have supervised doctoral research in linguistic divergence, pronominal system, machine translation, question and inter-cultural particle expressions, language processing and computational linguistic analysis. CAREER GOALSI am looking for a challenging new opportunity to further develop my skills as a University Lecturer, or University Tutor. I would like to teach linguistics courses in general along with fundamental linguistics, basic and intermediate syntax, grammar formalisms, language and communication, basic English and Hindi grammar, linguistic diversity and linguistic landscape study, and to continue my research in the area of language and communication with focus on intercultural, commercial/market and academic communication, socio-cultural aspects of linguistic landscape study, linguistic and comparative linguistic analysis of (new) languages, and language of academic argumentation.
