• Entirely responsible for achieving Welding & Fabrication Shop Production targets, with 100% Quality & NDT ( UT,VT,MT,PT)• Instrumental in Setting-up and commissioning of plant machineries / equipments / Accessories of the Heavy Fabrication Welding Shop & Machine Shop.• Key personnel in selection and recruitment process for the company’s manpower.• Implementing different types Weld map / Procedures as per codes.• Successfully executed wind mill tower manufacturing projects for various customers. • Implemented different Welding Procedures WPS/PQR/WPQ & documenting with third party approvals.• Handling the welding section comprising of 100 welders cum gas cutters.• Prepared documentation for ISO 9001 for fabrication & welding department.• Imparted practical and theoretical training in welding processes.• Conversant with Various National and International Welding & Fab. Standards and Norms, Viz .AWS, ASME, DIN,EN, BS, etc. • Meeting weekly and monthly production targets.• Monitoring the welding processes and Rejection and cost control.• Processes improvements & System implementation and compliance.• Understand designer requirement and convert in to welding and qualification plan.• Interaction with third party & client representative. • Planning and production in each shift on the shop floor to archive the production target, man power utilization etc.
