About Anila Rattan

An internationally certified L&D leader with 20+ years of professional experience in various facets of adult learning across industries. As a seasoned learning professional, I successfully and effectively combine my experience in training, facilitation, executive coaching, psychometric assessment, L&D operations and L&D consulting for business and P&L impact, with a global perspective. Over the span of my career, I have gained both competence and experience in leading the full lifecycle of learning, from diagnostic meetings, training needs analysis, content and course development, program structuring, syllabus development to assessment, post training interventions, feedback analysis, training quality control, training delivery and psychometric profiling. My ability to interact with multiple business stakeholders to design and deliver effective business solutions through an effective L&D strategy and roadmap for an organisation is most appreciated. Over the years, besides managing portfolios & teams, I have trained frontline sales personnel to senior executives. As a facilitator and executive coach, I have demonstrated my ability to create influence and positive learning environments. I am recognized and acknowledged as a collaborative leader with an ability to drive teams to a common goal. I have focused on developing competence in handling large multi-location L&D projects and have overseen process changes to supplement the skill building initiatives in various assignments. My belief is that L&D projects, apart from a relevant learning design and strategy, need strong project management and operational focus to succeed as a key business driver. The flagship program “Shopping Centre Management (Master class), a 3-day workshop for shopping centre professionals was conceptualised and executed by industry experts. This gave me and opportunity to interact with key players of the retail industry, understand in-depth the shopping centres business modal and create trainings relevant to the industry. A lot of time and effort was spent in research and relationship building in the industry to enlist the support of senior professionals of the industry to participate as trainers and subject matter experts for the program. This was a challenging task.
